The Holy Family Catholic High School is an 11 – 16 mixed comprehensive school providing Catholic education for up to 450 young people from a wide geographical area. The school is set in spacious grounds on the edge of Carlton village and we are proud to be part of the Catholic history of the village that dates back to the middle ages.

We are a North Yorkshire school in the south of the county, serving Selby, Brayton and the neighbouring villages. We also welcome students from the East Riding, from Howden, Goole, Old Goole and surrounding villages, and from Stainforth, Thorne and Moorends, near Doncaster.

Holy Family is a Catholic School in the Diocese of Leeds. We welcome people of other faiths. All students receive an education rooted in Gospel values, in a school committed to the partnership between parish, community, home and school.  We encourage students to respect and value themselves and others as unique and gifted human beings.

We offer an open, caring, friendly and focused learning environment with a wide range of activities, both formal and informal; to help our young people grow into independent and responsible adults.

We strive for excellence, seeking to develop the God-given talents and individuality of each young person.  We expect high standards of behaviour and achievement and celebrate the success it brings. We deliver effective teaching and learning and a well-balanced curriculum.

Holy Family provides a happy, caring, family environment in which young people are valued.
