The proportion of pupils achieving at least 5 A*-C GCSE including English and maths in 2016 is 60.8% which compares favourably with the 2015 national figure of 56%.

3 Levels progress English

The proportion of pupils making at least expected progress in English from their different starting points is 71.0% compared to 69% in 2015. The figure compares favourably with the 2015 national figure of 69%.

The proportion of pupils making at least expected progress in maths from their different starting points is 71.0% compared to 73% in 2015. The figure is well above the 2015 national figure of 66%.

The overall Progress 8 score in 2016 is -0.13 which is above the DfE floor target of -0.5.

Student Destinations In 2015/16 100% of all Y11 pupils progressed into education, employment or training. The current figure for the 2016/17 cohort destinations is 98.9%.
